Will this fit my Vehicle?
Lets be fair, when buying a bluetooth kit on the internet it can be very confusing, after all, when you go to a shop or garage they give you the options based around your vehicle, and by doing all of the "hard work" it is not usually apparant what is actually involved with fitting the kit.
This guide is designed to help you understand what is needed, and how these systems integrate with your vehicle. We have devided this section into the following catagories to make things easier to understand.
ISO Connections
ALL Bluetooth Kits come with ISO connections as standard, here is what an ISO connection looks like.

Not all stereos use ISO connections, some have quadlocks, where as others use slightly more orginal connections, heres a few examples.

If your vehicle does not have an ISO connection, you will require a lead that converts it to ISO

SOT Leads
A SOT lead is a basic harness convertor, to change your vehicles connections to ISO so that it will match with the bluetooth kit.
SOT leads are used for standard systems where there is no seperate amplifier, and due to their simplicity are relately in expensive. In our compatiblity, we may list more than one type of lead, if there is a SOT lead available for your vehicle we will always recommend that lead be used.
Drive and Talk Mute leads are required when the vehicles system incorporates an amplifier or has been highly upgraded. The lead usually replaces the kits harness and has the vehicle spefic connection pre installed. The Drive and Talk lead will connect to most bluetooth kits, using seperate adapters. For ease we include the adapter with every Drive and Talk lead we sell. Simply select which adapter you need on the product page.
A complete list of mute leads can be found here.
Ignition Feed
All Bluetooth kits require an ignition feed, so they power up when the key is turned, and turn off when the key is removed.
Due to the nature of bluetooth, the kits will drain the vehicles battery if the ignition is fed by a constant power source (ie the kit is active overnight) so please ensure that any required ignition feed is appropriately connected.
Some stereos provide ignition within the harness, others do not so you will need to find a good ignition source, usually from the fuse box.
Extension Leads
In some cases, the connections for the stereo or system to where the kit installs into are located away from the stereo. In these cases, extension leads are required so you can still install the kit around the drivers position. In our compatibility we suggest where these extensions are needed.

Radio Removal Keys
In most cases when you are fitting your bluetooth kit, you will need to remove the stereo.
Some stereos will release using ellen keys or screws, others will require the use of a specific tool, a Radio Removal Tool
