Alfa Romeo Kits
Vehicle Connection Guide
Step One - Choosing a Product.
Which ever Bluetooth car kit you choose, its main function is to allow you to receive and make calls. Some kits do this better than others, however its also important to think what features you would like your kit to have. We have selected our top choices for Alfa Romeo which will helpfully guide you in the right direction.
The iO Play.
The iO play offers good handsfree capabilities but even better music playback. Its small control unit is smaller and better looking than the parrot controller & much more suitable to the Alfa Dashboard than other devices. However if your looking to make a lot of calls the iO Play is probably not the kit for you. You can make calls, however you have to navigate through your phone to do so. Its a function that isn't available from the IO Play control unit, however you can answer and hang up & flick through music.
The Bury CC 9060
The Bury CC 9060 offers the best voice recognition system on the market today. Its simple to use and pairs with the vast majority of phones. It doesn't come with a control unit as the screen is touchable to navigate menus, or press voice to control via voice commands. The Bury does have a few little disadvantages however, the screen is more noticeable that the smaller iO Play control unit & it doesn't play music. However if your looking to make and receive calls this product is a serious contender.
The Parrot MKI9100
The Parrot is a very good combination of both the products above. It offers good handsfree calling features combined with good music integration. It doesn't do either as good as the Bury or iO Play however as a package it offers a good combination of the both. The only small issue with parrot MKI9100 is it comes with the control unit & a screen, taking up space on your dash. However you can get steering wheel control to integrate further into your car (Where available).
Step Two - Connecting to your vehicle
Integrating into your car. The vast majority of bluetooth handsfree kits connect via ISO, if your vehicle has ISO wiring it will connect straight into it. If not you will need an adapter to convert the vehicle harness to ISO. The table below shows what harness you may need for your vehicle. Drive and Mute leads are usually used for amplified systems.

| Spider | 2007- | With Bose system | Not Possible | 68650 (INT) |
The (INT) symble means that the only available connection for your vehicle is the radio specific interface which may have reduced interface options and integration.
ISO - Means that the Car already has an ISO harness present and does not need an ISO2CAR or Drive & Mute adapter cable however either would still work
